Little Miss Ivy

What can i say about Little Miss Ivy. She is sweet, full of smiles, has the greatest cheeks and loves her family with every inch of her heart.
With all of this She is fighting the good fight!! She is stronger then anyone I have ever known.

Our Miss Ivy was diagnosed with Leukemia a few months ago and has been fighting ever since. Her family has had to drop everything and be by her side to help her in this battle. You see Ivy is only two years old and has down syndrome which make this battle just a little more difficult. Her prognosis overall is good, but never the less she is fighting a battle of a lifetime. At 2 years old she has shown strength of 1000 Grown Men.

This sweet little girl is the daughter of my great friends Melissa and BJ and the little sister of Mr. Finnigan. I have known Melissa and her family most of my life and am proud to say I am a honourary part of the family.  As a best friend I feel it right to ask for assistance where this humble and loving family never would.

Ivy is a fighter, but the emotional and financial toll of this fight on this amazing family has become bigger then one could imagine. 

Thank god we live in a country where medical bills are covered but what you don't see is the finanical life drain an unexpected battle like childhood cancer can cause. Bills keep coming in, groceries need to be bought,  and houses break down around you. This is added stress no family in this situation shoud have to worry about.
When you need to be by your childs side it is hard to keep it all together. It is important that Ivy have the best of her family during her battle and it is not fair to anyone that any ounce of her family should be distracted with financial stress.

So as the best friend to the strongest and most humble mother in the world I will ask what she never would... for some help. This family needs some financial help.  they are having a rough go at the moment. Systems are not quick or realiable in this world and bills are starting to catch up. this is the last thing this family needs to think about!
So I ask please help to show this little girl and her family some support. If for a second you ever thought I wish I could help someone in need here is your opportunity. If you know the family and have been sitting around like me thinking I wish I could do something to help, to fix this. well this is it. $5 or $1000 it doesn't matter every nickel will help.

This funding will go to nessecities of life. To pay the bills while they are in the hospital etc.

It has sat on my heart the erge to help this family as they would do the same to anyone they love.  So please help them so they can help little Ivy and continue to be the strong and loving family they are.
