Little Free Libraries!

The W-E Library Boosters, a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that supports the Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library, would like to raise $5,000 to place at least 6 Little Free Libraries throughout our Willoughby-Eastlake communities.
Little Free Libraries are hand-crafted structures filled with constantly changing collections of books donated and shared by people of all ages and backgrounds. We would like to place our Little Free Libraries in parks, neighborhoods, near schools and community centers. The Libraries are built to withstand weather of all kinds and hold up to 50 books. People around the world have embraced the Little Free Library movement. There are currently over 40,000 libraries in communities around the globe! The concept is simple: take a book, leave a book. Our goal is to partner with local scout groups to help us build the libraries and bring them to your community.
The funds raised will be used to purchase the Little Free Libraries and all supplies needed to build and install them including the posts/bases, cement, paint, decals, nuts and bolts. If we are lucky enough to raise more than our goal, we will build more Little Free Libraries with the funds.
