Hi guys this is Ellie she is a loving smiley energetic 5 year old, who loves playing with her siblings jay and Alicia ...
Since birth Ellie has had a bit of a tough start with health issues but overcome all doctors thoughts such as the fact that she would never walk, talk nor see.
Ellie has been astonishing and been so brave at only a young age having cochlea implants fitted so she can hear and she has shocked us all with how much she has progressed.
Just before Christmas we all had such a scare and Ellie was rushed into hospital with internal bleeding , once Ellie was stable she was put to sleep to have a look internally with a camera and we found out that it was Ellie's liver that were bleeding and an operation was put forward to temporarily fix this problem therefore means ellie has liver failure and portal vein thrombosis. Ellie was home for Christmas with another op date set on the 4Th of January to go back in and check on Ellie's progress. They found that Ellie had started to bleed yet again and have come to a decision that Ellie will need this operation every 6 weeks !
They are decisive if Ellie will need a liver transplant at this present moment but what we do no is this little girl needs as much support so do her family ! Ellie is on multiple medication that makes her feel quite poorly during her days that she is at home . Because of this condition Ellie's parents have to be so careful that she do sent do the common things a 5 year old would do such as bump her tummy or even picking up an item just that little bit to heavy.... its a life changing situation down to even Ellie's diet where she now can not have anything such as sweets and chocolate the things all kids love and enjoy.
So i as this little girls cousin am setting up this page to insure Ellie has so much fun hospital wont faze her as she will have so much to play with and trips to look forward to that the hospital rooms wont scare her and trips to the hospital will be second nature to this beautiful little girl.
we are asking for donations so we can get things such as
Small trips for Ellie and her family.
Days out for Ellie and her family.
To give Ellie a huge shopping spree as well as her siblings who are also suffering in this situation .
And not to mention the overall inconvenience of being in hospital so much and not being able to attend school anymore Ellie needs things to keep her mind occupied so we are looking into buying things Ellie will love and enjoy.
