Hello!
I am Maren (nickname Nadi), a 41 years old, german single mother and my first daughter Alma, born 2014 on Tenerife, where we still live, has the Down Syndrome. That means that she needs a lot of attention, a lot of care, and alone, without a social net, it is very difficult to manage.
The idea of the project is a little community of a few families with children, joining together to create an organic farming project (with permaculture practices) for self-sufficiency. The aim is to grow up our children together with the support of each other, providing for them with healthy food and giving them the opportunity to play together in an natural, healthy, harmonious and respectful life-environment created with love for the details. It has to be a healing space for everybody (healing understood as a process of re-establishment of the physical, mental and emotional integrity and reconnection with nature).
It is planned the use of renewable energies, ecological materials and natural wastewater treatment, the construction of wooden houses and the avoidance of toxic substances.
The first step is to buy a suitable ground, big enough to give space to 3-6 families and near enough to the coast to avoid cold and humidity (the clouds always get caught on the mountains and walls are getting mouldy.) The price for such a terrain is about 200.000 €.
After that, finally the project can really start and we will begin with the construction of wooden houses to life in. From this moment on, I can give a lot of feedback to my donators in form of fotos and videos...
To advance the project of organic farming it is planned the deployment of international volunteers who help with their work and knowledge in exchange for board and lodging. But meanwhile also the use of some experts will be necessary.
I hope you will give some support to make this wonderful project reality and to make possible, that particularly Alma with her special needs can grow up happy and healthy with other children and a mother who is not overtaxed because she has the support of other families.

Ich bin Maren (Spitzname Nadi), eine 41 Jahre alte, alleinerziehende Mutter und meine erstgeborene Tochter Alma, die 2014 auf Teneriffa zur Welt kam, wo wir immer noch leben, hat das Down Syndrom. Das bedeutet, daß sie viel Pflege bedarf, und dies alleine zu schaffen, ohne soziales Netz, ist sehr schwierig.
Die Idee des Projekts ist es, eine kleine Lebensgemeinschaft zu erschaffen, die ein paar Familien mit Kindern umfaßt und sich dem biologischen Anbau von Obst und Gemüse für Eigenkonsum widmet (mit Permakultur). Ziel ist es, die Kinder gemeinsam in einer gesunden, natürlichen, hamonischen und respektvollen Umgebung mit Liebe zum Detail zu erziehen, in der sie unbeschwert miteinander spielen können, gesund ernährt werden und die Familien sich gegenseitig im alltäglichen Leben unterstützen. Es soll ein heilender Ort für alle werden (Heilung verstanden als Wiederherstellung der physischen, mentalen und emotionalen Integrität und Wieder-Verbindung mit der Natur).
Es ist geplant, erneuerbare Energien zu verwenden, ökologische Materialien und biologische Abwasserreinigung, der Bau von Holzhäusern und die Vermeidung von toxischen Substanzen.
Der erste Schritt ist, ein geeignetes Gelände zu kaufen, groß genug um 3-6 Familien Platz zu geben und nahe genug an der Küste, um Kälte und Feuchtigkeit zu vermeiden (die Wolken bleiben immer an den Bergen hängen und die Wände schimmel in höheren Lagen).
Der Preis für ein solches Grundstück liegt bei ca. 200.000 €.
Danach kann das Projekt endlich richtig starten und wir werden mit der Konstruktion der Holzhäuser beginnen, um in ihnen leben zu können.
Von dem Moment an, werde ich meinen Spendern eine Menge Feedback in Form von Fotos und Videos geben können...
Um das Bio-Anbau-Projekt voran zu bringen, ist der Einsatz von Ehrenamtlichen aus aller Welt geplant, die uns gegen Unterkunft und Verpflegung mit ihrem Wissen und ihrer Arbeit zur Hand gehen.
Aber auch der Einsatz von Experten wird zwischenzeitlich nötig sein.
Ich hoffe, Du wirst uns unterstützen, um dieses wunderbare Projekt zur Realität zu machen und es ermöglichen, dass insbesondere Alma mit ihren speziellen Bedürfnissen glücklich und gesund mit anderen Kindern zusammen aufwachsen kann, und mit einer Mutter, die nicht überfordert ist, weil sie auf die Unterstützung anderer Familien zählen kann.
