Welcome Johnny and Jane Home
Support veterans in our communities

Thank you for your support of The Welcome Johnny and Jane Home Project!

The Welcome Johnny and Jane Home Project is about human connections and the healing power of listening. The project helps veterans heal “and reduces the too-common chasms between veterans and nonveterans" by having one nonveteran at a time simply listen to a veteran from any war.

This fundraising is organized to help pay for community outreach materials, which will help spread awareness about the Project and connect veterans with nonveterans.

Your donation will help fund:
· Design and publication of electronic and printed brochures about the Project.
· Professional website updates to include a forum, which will support and connect veterans and volunteers.
· Project mementos (t-shirts, hats, bumper stickers) given as gifts to veterans and volunteers and to help spread awareness about the Project in their community.

If you are a veteran who would like to do one of the listening sessions, or if you are a nonveteran who would like to get involved as a listener or to volunteer your time and skills to support any of the above, please email welcomejohnnyandjanehome@gmail.com

For detailed information about the Project and Veterans' stories, please visit: http://whenjohnnyandjanecomemarching.weebly.com/the-welcome-johnny-and-jane-home-project.html

Nonprofit VIDCAPT holds Project funds and will distribute what is donated here for the purposes listed above.

Isaac Pope was an unsung hero of the Battle of the Bulge, as well as an activist in the civil rights and labor movements and a tireless community organizer and volunteer. The screening will be held at Rockville Memorial Library in Rockville, MD. It will be the first in this autumn's series of three film screenings sponsored by Friends of Rockville Memorial Library this fall. The second film, on October 14 at 2 p.m., will be the Emmy-winning film "SERVICE: When Women Come Marching Home" by Marcia Rock and Patricia Lee Stotter! November 4 at 2 p.m., there will be a free, public screening of our multi-awardwinning film, "Is Anybody Listening?" at Rockville Memorial Library in Rockville, MD.
