Liza Saves Lions

As many of you know I have a deep love and passion for the African lion. What most don’t know is that lions are going extinct and they need our help. In 1950 there were approximately 400,000 lions in Africa, today less than 20,000 lions exist. This is widely due to habitat loss, disease, trophy hunting and their illegal trade. They are expected to go extinct in the year 2050!

I am so excited to announce that I will be traveling to South Africa this May to volunteer with the Love Lions Alive Project with a wonderful woman named Andi Rive. Andi takes lions from sad circus backgrounds or inhumane atmospheres and gives them a better life! I will also be volunteering at the Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary. Kevin became my idol about 3 years ago when I discovered him through youtube. See video below.

For these reasons I want to fight for lions lives. Its always been a dream of mine to make an impact in wildlife consevation. With these donations you are making a small change in a lions life.
