Raising much needed funeral costs

I'm raising funds for the SMITH FAMILY for the funeral costs... with the recent passing of their beloved Mother and Wife RUTH SMITH who passed peacefully yesterday 8/10/2018.
Ruth was born in Bathurst in 1941 she was one of 5 children and went to school in Mudgee then eventually settling in Sydney and marrying her lifelong partner Ivan in 1967 celebrating their 50 years of marriage last year in 2017 by renewing their vows in the same Chapel they were married in. They had 3 daughters Vona, Melinda (Lindy) and Megan.
Ruth worked for 38 years in the NSW education system in both primary and high schools- most notably Newtown High School for the Performing Arts for 24 years.
Everyone that knew Ruth, was aware of her selfless, caring and helpful nature always ready with a joke, never complaining about anyone or anything always getting the job done.
In late 2011 Ruth tripped and fell hitting her head, never fully recovering and having neck surgery going from a rehabilitation facility learning to walk again, to have to find out she'd not be going back to her family home in Earlwood and would need round the clock care at the OPAL Cardinal Freeman care facility in Ashfield.
Only 4 years ago in 2014 whilst seeing a specialist, they noticed symptoms of the dreaded Parkinson's disease, eventually confirming it was the rare and aggressive form called PSP- Progressive Supranuclear Palsy .
Ruth's health continued to deteriorate everyday leaving Ruth bedridden unable to walk, use her arms or legs or move her head.
The progression of this disease was rapid, in 2018 leading to difficulties with communicating, opening her eyes, the inability to swallow generating lengthy stays at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital requiring the insertion of a feeding tube (Jejunostomy) to the small intestine for all nutrients, with the many horrid complications involved and Pneumonia.
In September 2018 Ruth having already lost her ability to speak prior, her jaw jamming shut left her trapped inside her body with an intact mind unable to communicate with her loved ones and nursing staff.
Early October 2018 Ruth's condition declined dramatically, with her slipping into a deep coma suddenly and only days later on the 8th of October sadly passing away surrounded by her loving family.
The family are struggling to cover the Funeral expenses for their Mothers funeral and would be ever so grateful for any kind donations big or small it will all help to go towards the cost of celebrating her life.
