Space University Tuition

Donation protected

Hi there!

Before you read this, take a look outside and up towards the sky. Whether night or day, it is a beautiful sight isn't it? The sun is beaming, the clouds are stirring and the vast blue canvas takes your current troubles away even just for a brief moment...At night, the stars are twinkling, the moon is shining, and the universe is all visible above our heads! Haven't experienced this yet?
Go on, look outside.

:)

Welcome back! My name is Linda, and I am a huge space enthusiast. I have just received my B.Sc in Honours Biochemistry. With excitement, I have been accepted to attend the International Space University (ISU) for their Space Studies Program (SSP) and Masters. (http://www.isunet.edu/
There, I will combine all my skills together to reach new heights in space medicine.  (See below for why this is important).

With tuition fees already climbing in debt and Canadian scholarship opportunities on decline, I greatly require your help in allowing me to achieve my dreams at the ISU. The total tuition for the SSP alone nears $29 000 CAD, and the Masters program is another story on its own. This is why I am unable to attend if I cannot gather up the resources in time.

100%* of the funds you contribute will go towards my ISU tuition, which needs to be gathered by July 2016. It's a tight deadline but any helping hand from your end will definitely make a difference!

*IMPORTANT NOTE: If your donation surpasses $30, an E-transfer of the funds would be greatly appreciated! Message me for further information.

Please help me reach my dream goals in furthering the future of space science and space medicine. Being accepted to this prestigious program means a lot to me, and I hope to be able to make it a reality. I thank you incredulously for your time, efforts and contribution. It really means a lot, and will definitely be life changing!!

Have you ever heard of space medicine? It’s a collaborative branch of medicine that deals with human health before, during and after spaceflight. I am interested in how the human body changes due to the microgravity environment. Recent research has shown that arteries stiffen, mimicking the effects of aging and atherosclerosis, vision depth perception changes, bones deteriorate and muscle mass decreases to name just a few. Knowing these results, we will then be able to determine preventative methods to prevent these severe health effects in space. But guess what? We also use this information to help those suffering from analogous symptoms on Earth such as osteoporosis. The dual benefits, I must say are quite space-cial!

Clear skies,
