Our mom, Linda Denne, has been grappling with cancer for the last few years. Recently, we found out that the aggressive uterine cancer, Carcinosarcoma, has metastasized in her lungs and is growing quickly.

Through all of the surgeries, chemo-therapies, radiation, and broken shoulder (wtf!), she has remained the humorous, charismatic, kind, generous, supportive, and adventurous spirit that we all aspire to be and to be around. She lights up anyone she meets and treats all humans equally and with compassion. It has resulted in her being a wonderful nurse, a great friend, a solid team mate, and the best mom.

With very little treatment options at this stage and a poor prognosis, my mom just wants to see some more of our beautiful country and travel to the Grand Canyon with her two daughters (Lauren and Johanna) and their significant others (Steve and Andrew), her boyfriend Dmitri, and her support dog Gypsy Rose who she adopted during her first treatment in 2015. My sister and I do not have very much money at this time to take her on this adventure so we are requesting some help from the community to donate towards an RV rental to drive from Denver, CO to the Grand Canyon, visiting a few parks along the way.

Anything in excess of our goal, we want to donate to the GCS project , a group conducting pioneering research and advancing knowledge of this aggressive and rare form of cancer.

In life, it feels like we can never hold on to enough memories. They seem to always be fading as the waves of time constantly wash over them and pull grains of detail back into the endless ocean.
