On 12th February 2014 Strom Darwin wrecked havoc in Munster, Ireland. Resutling in the roof being torn off the 144 year old structure. Thankfully nobody was injured and boat damage was minimal. Despite efforts made by the committe the monies required for a new roof could not be raised. The last year has seen new energy brought to the peir head and we have new members joining us for recreational rowing, from ages 13 years to 63 years. There are new boats and equipment on order to facilitate the new demand. Space in the existing clubhouse is now running short. Its time to focus our energies on building a new roof and keeping rowing alive in the Boat Club. Please help us to riase our target ammount, any donation will help, no matter how small or large. This money will strictly be allocated for roof replacement and we hope to have collected money by the end of 2017. We are also actively recruiting new members regardless of levels of fitness or ability, so if you are up for the challange come and join us on the peir head.
