 NEW ORLEANS, LA
Lillian Boutte, internationally recognized New Orleans vocalist, long time Jazz Ambassador to the city, and social activist. She's used her voice to share New Orleans Jazz & culture all over the world, raising money for the Katrina recovery, the New Orleans Musician's Clinic, and helping numerous musicians start their international careers. She's spent decades doing workshops for special needs children, and has always made herself available for anyone, or organization needing help.  She is now facing the devastating disease of dementia and alzheimer’s.  The family is struggling to do what needs to be done to take care of Lillian.  Your donation will help with medical supplies; skilled care givers and an additional support she needs.

The family would like to continue to thank all of Lillian’s friends for their support and all your help. As we continue to watch Lil fall in to the debts of this illness and grieve for the vibrant Lil we grew up and watched help bring New Orleans music to the world. We continue to ask for your support as we try to keep her at home as long as we can.
We would also like everyone to know that because of you, her care givers and family that gathers around her daily, everyone sees, Lil is truly loved. She continues to receive physical therapy and eats very well (its New Orleans food after all). As always, Lil still giggles when showered with kisses because this illness has not take that joy from her yet and everyone who hears that bubbly sound smiles and knows that is now her music.
