Lighthouse Nursery Portishead Closure Relief Fund

In late January 2019 the Lighthouse Nursery closed unexpectedly without any prior warning. This has caused major distress and concern to parents and it’s subsequent closure has caused the staff to be made redundant. I strongly believe that the staff, who performed daily childcare with such passion, deserve better. While some have found jobs, others haven’t and I want to show support, gratitude and appreciation to those who have  looked after our children so well. Once finished discretionary awards will be made to staff whom have been employed long term at the nursery as a token of our appreciation and to others whom may still find themselves unemployed or in hardship. 

Any residual funds will be distributed to local and international childcare charities.
