Light Up and Cover the USVI

As many of you know the United States Virgin Islands have been devasted by hurricane Irma. St Croix has minimal damage while St. Thomas and St. John are in complete ruins and receiving very little attention. Majority of homes and businesses have been destroyed and they could potentially be without power for MONTHS. The islanders have minimal food, very little shelter and no way to communicate with the outside world. While it's easy for someone unfamiliar with island life to say, "leave," that's not a simple task. Everything they know and love resides on their "rock" in the middle of the Caribbean.

We are working to send a freight container to aid in their relief. I will be personally covering the cost of shipping these goods from Virginia via container to St. Croix for distribution, while depending on others and their generous donations to fill it. Our goal is to purchase as many generators, tarps, pallets of bottled water and everyday essentials that our fellow Americans need to survive at this point and going forward. There is an enormous amount of help being distributed to Texas and Florida, rightfully so, but the islands need our help now more than ever.

We are also partnering with Lowe's to aid us in this mission and give light, hope and love back to our fellow Americans in the USVI ❤️
