On Friday, March 25, 2016, Fiona was diagnosed with a brain tumor. A few days later she had brain surgery to remove the tumor. It was a low grade astrosytoma. Unfortunately, the tumor has been slowly growing back since then.
On March 6, 2017, Fiona had another brain surgery to remove the tumor regrowth. Hopefully this time around the tumor will not grow back!
Fiona now has a Facebook page, Lift Up Fiona, that everyone is welcome to follow!
Sarah Jean and Casimir will likely be unable to work while they deal with their family's medical emergency and not only will their loss of income be a challenge but they will surely face significant medical bills.
