Lifting Up the Randy Rush Family 2021
From Jerrie Rush to our beloved friends and family, greetings.
It has been an unbelievable 2021. The last couple of years have been devastating for all of humanity and I pray that your family is safe and healthy. I thank you for your generosity in our time of need when my husband Randy passed away two years ago. So many of you reached out, sent messages, and expressed willingness to be contacted as more needs arose. You have all actively been a part of His hand over our lives. Thank you.
Nineteen months after Randy passed, we unexpectedly lost Randy's father, Allen Rush. Just as we were devastated by Randy's death, Allen’s passing soon thereafter crushed us. It was traumatizing all over again to lose the last consistent father and grandfather in our lives. I cannot say it has been easy, grief is an emotional rollercoaster with no end. Nonetheless, I still praise God through it all. Through the kindness of others, it is God's grace that consistently shows his love and care for us.
Randy's father’s wishes were to leave his home for my children, his only grandchildren. Due to some complications with his estate, his wishes are being contested and I find myself in need of help again. Without it, my children will lose the house their grandfather left to them and that their father faithfully kept for them.
My financial current need is an additional $25,000 (the “amount raised” field on this page is from April 2019, & we're working with GFM to update for clarity). We have raised about $520 towards this new $25,000 goal with some ways to go. If I can secure this sum, I will be able to prevent the imminent sale of the house. I must see that Randy and Allen's wishes are respected. I pray to not be forced to sale my home in order to be able to fight this battle for our children.
