WHY: to live missionally in the city of NY and partner with local churches for the advancement of the Gospel.
HOW MUCH IS NEEDED: $1,000
WHAT DOES THAT COVER: Plane tickets to a kick-off conference in Phoenix, Plane tickets to Orlando for debrief conference, Application Fee, and Spending money.
As Many of you know I have been called to Pastor, and more specifically to pastor in New York. God has placed this city heavily on my heart and I have been working with a few different church plants for the past 3-4 years every summer and and sometimes even during the winter seasons. I have about 8 months until I am finished with school and living in NY doing full time ministry (Lord Willing). I have been given an amazing opportunity to return again to NY this summer, and this time to lead a team. I am going with an organization called GendSend (the video speaks on it more). This organization helps individuals to understand what it looks like to live day by day with a missional mindset. Besides this, we will be working along side local church planters to be an encouragement and addition to the what God is already doing there. Through the organization we will be given a $900 stipend this will cover transportation while in NY, housing, and food. The funds I need to raise cover the plane ticket costs, application fee, and spending money.
