THE REVITALIZATION OF A FORGOTTEN AREA OF LADY BIRD MUNICIPAL PARK.
Why is this project important to LGC17? The location we have chosen to revitalize at Lady Bird Municipal Park was once a rather frequented area for families and visitors to the park. Unfortunately, Oak Wilt hit this area hard and the trees are suffering and need to be removed. Dead limbs often fall so this becomes a huge priority when assessing the safety for those looking to enjoy the location.
Our class is committed to removing the dead trees and replanting with new trees as well as a major clean up of the area, revitalizing an old walk-way from the existing pavilion to the creek and refurbishing the picnic tables. We will also plant native flowering plants for bees and butterflies.

· Promote an overall greater outdoor, social and physical space for the public, community, and tourists.
Scope of Proposed Work
1. Create Beautiful Landscape:
· Removing Brush & Underbrush
· Create Beautiful Landscaping
· Clean Riverbank
2. Restore the Location:
· Clear Away Concrete Pads & Level Ground
· Re-establish Walk-Way from Pavilion to the River
· Update the Open Space & Outdated Structures
3. Promote Change & Inclusion:
· Build Entry Way
· Refurbish Picnic Tables
· Dedicate the Project to Financial Benefactors
