Marine, Blaine Hill, is a paradox. He looks tough as nails but his heart is soft as cotton. He has seen the kind of combat that still wakes him in the middle of the night with terrors and PTSD. The only thing as difficult as his service was the accidental death of his only son, Michael. Blaine is a good and loyal friend. He was injured in a 4-wheeler accident last summer, which required almost $3,000 in out of pocket expenses and lost work, the same week that his car's engine literally melted just a few thousand miles past warranty.
