Help the Hoff Family

Shelly is a 9-1-1 Emergency Dispatcher with Red Deer Emergency Services. She recently found a lump in her breast and soon after was diagnosed with stage 3 aggressive breast cancer.
She is the proud mom of two adorable young boys and wife to an amazing husband.. who cut his own work hours back so she could achieve her dream job of becoming a 9-1-1 dispatcher.
This diagnosis has no doubt dealt the Hoff family a hard blow, both financially and mentally. She will be undergoing a double mastectomy and most likely going through chemotherapy in the coming weeks.
Shelly is a part-time dispatcher and due to being a new employee, she is unable to build up enough sick time hours so finances have become a burdon.
Being a part of Red Deer Emergency Services is being part of a family.
We don’t want to see one of our own struggle, especially when going through such a serious illness.
We want her to be able to focus on healing and spending time with her family withought the weight of finances on her shoulders.
