Lets Help Mya Fight!

Maya Zaborowski, Age 6


Maya was diagnosed with liver cancer on March 31, 2017 shortly before her 6th birthday. Prior to being diagnosed with cancer she was like most other kids her age: happy, care free, energetic, smart, and loved being around other kids playing. She also loved being creative and painting, loved being active and playing outside or going to the pool and swimming.  Her favorite subject in school was math. On occasion, she would also love to go with her aunt to get her “nails done” and pink was her favorite color. Like most other 6 year old girls, her favorite move is Frozen and she just loves Olaf.

Since she was diagnosed with cancer, her life changed dramatically. Now her days consist of doctor visits, chemotherapy appointment and hospital stays. Often times she is limited in what she can do, weather its going swimming or playing with her friends or spending time with her friends due to her treatments or how she is feeling. She also lost her hair that she loved so much. She was exposed to an adult life and its realities at such a young age. No child should ever have to go though as much as she is going though. Although this road is very hard for her she is handling it and is fighting it one step at a time. And we are very proud of her and we continue to love and will continue to support her.

Nie jest latwo widziec jak tak wiele musi przejsc ale jestesmy dobrych mysli ze dzieki wspanialej opiece lekarzy I pomocy od ludzi dobrego serca bedzie mogla cieszyc sie znowu normalnoscja:)
Maja zachorowala nagle I tak samo nagle wszystko zniemilo sie dla niej dramatycznie:( ((
Zamiast bawic sie, biegac, smiac I spedzac czas w parku jej dzien jest wypelniomy pobytem w szpitalu :((
Maja jest dzielna I slotka dziewczynka I mocno wierzymy ze pokona ta straszna chorobe:))
