Financial help for Mike Blanchard

It's never easy to ask for help, but there comes a time when you have no other choice. Those of you that know my dad, know he'd give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. They also know he's a pretty tough guy who can endure most anything on his own. That's what makes this so difficult for him and his family right now.
This past winter, in February, my Dad slipped on some ice and felt a pinch in his back. Not thinking much of it he continued on his way with what he was doing. Fast forward a few weeks and a few Chiropractic visits later, he has quickly deteriorated. He has been bedridden since about April. He has been turned away at local medical clinics due to inability to pay upfront. (Is that even legal?) Emergency room visits have offered some relief when he's been prescribed Prednisone. My Dad's proper care is being denied for a lack of insurance and funds. (If you can't work, you lose your job. If you lose your job, you lose your insurance.)
He has the beginning stages of Cauda Equina syndrome setting in and significant atrophy from the waist down. He can't feel his feet or buttocks and has very little sensation in his legs. I have never seen anything like this and can't imagine how hard it is for him to rise and face the day in this amount of pain.
We really need help paying for medical bills right now. We are waiting for the referral from Dr. Tadych for his MRI, so he can be scheduled for surgery. And with winter right around the corner we really need help getting their propane tank filled and floor fixed. The floor in their bathroom and front entrance has sustained water damage that my Dad was going to fix, but injured his back and has been unable to. If any of his friends have any odds and ends lumber left over that they would donate and volunteer to help fix the floor before winter, that would be very much appreciated.
I am reaching out to as many local resources as I can, and my sister, mother and I are trying are very best to get my Dad the care he so desperately needs. I have started the process of his retirement, but I don't know how long it'll take to start getting funds or have him on Medicare and my mother can not do all of this on her own.
If you're unable to make a donation please lift my father up in prayer and all the healing energy you can muster up.
Thank you so much for your patronage.
