Let’s help Everybunny Counts Rabbit Rescue funding

Tax deductible
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money for Everybunny Counts Rabbit Rescue, and any donation will help make impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

When I became the official director of Everybunny Counts Rabbit Rescue in September 2016, I had no idea what was in store for me. We have officially been in our own facility for just over 2 years and have even grown with square footing as time moved forward. We have close to 100 rabbits at any time and we are a grass root rescue that runs solely of volunteers and donations. I personally withdrew my retirement fund and used it to grow and thrive. And to everyone’s amazement we did thrive and grow!

Our volunteers and supporters are the reason for this! They are the unsung hero’s willing to get down and dirty every week so our bunnies are cared for and loved. It really overwhelms me what love and generosity has grown our rescue into what it is today.

With that said, we are without a doubt at a standstill financially. Without any medical emergencies or other issues, I have to come up with at least $2000 a month no matter what. The amount of sleep I have lost figuring out how to accomplish that for the last 2 years has been one of most humbling and anxiety filled times of my life.

It’s a lot to run a facility as large as ours and find the money so we can continue helping domestic bunnies, the underdogs in the realm of the rescue world.

This is what I’m asking, more so pleading for financial help so we can catch up with rent and have it paid until next January. This may seem not that urgent of a situation, but it truly is. I don’t want to have to turn away injured bunnies because it would be too expensive to help them without enough funding.

I am also planning out what we will need to do to prepare for next summer for a cooling system so we never have to go through what we did this summer with multiple emergency evacuations. Our floor units are not equipped for that large of an area, along with the fur clogging them. All of our units were ruined this summer and I now have to plan on getting an industrial cooling unit set up for our space which will cost at least 3-4k to get one used and installed. All of this is my concern and I will say that I have just hit a wall and feel like I’m treading water.

This rescue is everything to me. It gave me purpose and a reason to get out of bed in the morning because those beautiful bunnies need me to keep them happy and safe. And it has, is, and will be the reason I feel joy and peace on a daily basis.

All I can ask of you is if you can donate a little or a lot and/or share, myself and the buns at the rescue will be eternally grateful. Then we can all sleep a little easier at night.

Thank you for your continued love and support
