Lets fly Simba and Lulu!

Simba and Lulu showed up at our door, literally. Our own rescued dog, Scooby, barked way too much and when I looked outside they were at our door step.
"Hey! We are here!"
I opened the door and Lulu walked right in! Simba was a little skittish but he followed his sister to the backyard and that's how they got rescued (or rescued themselves one could say).
"This looks nice.... hey Simba, we could live here!"
Simba and Lulu arrived very thirsty and SUPER hungry! After a bowl of food, fresh water and a bath, they made themselves home.
"Yep! We are not leaving yet".
A few days later, a visit from the vet and BIG sight of relief: Simba and Lulu received a clean bill of health and their first round of vaccines.
"Marina, that part we didn't enjoy much, you know?".
After their follow up visit to the vet, second round of vaccines, Simba and Lulu are ready for their freedom flight and to be adopted to a loving home.
"Wait, is there more love coming? Really? Simbaaaa listen to this! There's more love coming!"
So, the ultimate goal of this fundraiser is to cover Simba and Lulu's vet's bills (possibly to spay and neuter as well - if we raise enough money) and pay for their flight to the USA where they will have a better chance of being adopted. Since Hurricane Maria passed very few airlines are accepting dogs as cargo and the prices spiked tremendously.
"Lulu.... I think she said we are flying... hey Lulu... did you hear that?"

The stray dog situation in Puerto Rico is very serious and both me and Irving have been rescuing dogs, volunteering for rescue organizations and helping our local vet with free vaccination events. Since Hurricane Maria the situation got a lot worse as lots of people fled to the US leaving their dogs behind - either just dumping them on the streets or leaving them inside of the houses they abandoned. We are not exaggerating, we are witness of cases like this all the time.
The intention of this fundraiser is to cover Simba and Lulu's expenses AND fly them to an organization in the US that will place them in a good loving home. In case we pass the amount we set (GUYS, THAT WOULD BE AMAZING) we are using the remaining money to rescue more dogs and/or towards free vaccination, spay and neuter events and help rescue organizations.
These souls have no voice unless we speak for them. And that's what we trying here.
