jens story:
hi I’m Jenny and I live in Cornwall. I’m mumma bear to Bethany, who I Home school. Life is pretty great. However there’s a dark demon I carry round with me and I’m tired of it. I’ve tried all sorts to help myself. I was sexually abused age 5. This wasn’t the only time it happened to me in my lifetime either. By age 7 I had an undiagnosed eating disorder and major hatred for myself. This has all snowballed over the years. Becoming a parent was the biggest blessing although the greatest distraction too. We’ve had a bumpy ride. Undiagnosed autism and extreme anxieties haven’t been easy for us both. Now that mini me is sorted I feel it’s my time to get sorted. I’ve set up the first uk support group through the younique foundation for other ladies that were abused as children. 1 in 4 is too many !!! I now have the opportunity to visit the retreat in Utah to start my healing journey and bring back those resources to the support groups. I’m forever grateful I found younique
