Leon Hua: A Cappella Academy 2018

Hey there! I'm Leon Hua, a 17-year old singer from Cupertino, California. :)
I fell in love with a cappella music listening to Pentatonix, and it's been my life ever since. I arrange and sing with my a cappella group in the Bay Area, The Rits. Going to camp not only exposed me to new types of music and musicians but also gave me exposure to the world outside the bubble that is the Silicon Valley.
Last year I auditioned for and was given the opportunity to attend A Cappella Academy at Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles, California, where I joined 70 other amazingly talented people to learn about musical disciplines like performance, arranging, and songwriting. As you can imagine, this camp was a dream come true for me! I had a truly amazing experience, and I have come to cherish many of the friendships I have developed and moments that I shared with my peers.
Once again, I plan to attend A Cappella Academy in the coming summer. However, the tuition for camp comes to around $1995 as the faculty consists of some of the most accomplished people in a cappella, including Ben Bram and Avi Kaplan of Pentatonix, and various other ICCA award-winning arrangers, vocalists, and performers. As such, I am reaching out to you for any help that you are able to graciously offer.
Whether you can offer one dollar, ten dollars, or even just a share on social media, I would greatly appreciate any bit of support that you could offer to me. Every penny counts! :)
