Leon Animal Care

At Sir Herbert Leon Academy we are keen to offer our students the experience of looking after, nurturing and caring for animals. We believe that these skills help our students to develop an understanding of the world around them and to be a responsible individual. Our students are keen to offer other young people, who are less fortunate than themselves, the opportunity to come in and spend time with the animals. This fund will help enable us to offer opportunities to local charities, hospitals, hospices and schools.  Please support us. Any donations will be used to support the maintenance of the animals, enable outreach work such as covering the cost of staffing the facility. A £5 donation will feed our two goats, Keith and Gary, for two weeks. A £2 donation will feed Oscar, one of our rescue rabbits, for a week.
