In Lennon's memory we want to raise money for the wonderful charity Féileacáin. Féileacáin (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland – SANDAI) is a newly formed, not for profit organisation ( CHY – 19635) that aims to offer support to anyone affected by the death of a baby during pregnancy or shortly after. The organisation was formed by a group of bereaved parents who supported each other after the death of their own babies and have now come together to formally offer support to other parents and families who find themselves in a similar situation.
The loss of a child is the most indescribable pain imaginable but unfortunately for many parents including us, this becomes reality, However with the help of Féileacáin we got to spend 2 very precious nights with Lennon as they provided us with an amazing cuddle cot.These cots, which look like a conventional Moses Basket regulate the baby’s temperature which allows parents to keep their baby with them that little bit longer. There will never be enough time to say goodbye to your baby but with the support of Féileacáin they hope that the Cuddle Cots will extend that time to make those precious moments. These amazing cots also allow parents to take their baby home if this is their wish. We hope to raise enough money to donate a cuddle cot in Lennon's memory because without this amazing charity, the memories we cherish would not of been possible.
