Many have supported my mom throughout her journey. She has been an amazing warrior, and I can not be more proud.
This week it was confirmed that she has a short time left. Unfornately, none of her treatments could stop the growth of addtional tumors thoughout her body.
What many may not know is that mom has not been able to speak for about 3 months. She has a tumor that is affecting her vocal nerve. She had some radiation, but that did not bring her voice back. We are going to see a specialist soon and hopefully he can do a procedure to help get her voice back. This is by far the most difficult. To go through everything that she has, and now hearing that time is shortened...and not be able to speak to those that she loves is really hard.
I am working to fly my brothers to California for a final visit. I also am trying to do a couple of fun things with my mom. A boat ride on the ocean is planned for next week. Any donations at this time would be greatly appreciated to help with these additional expenses. Donations will also go in some additonal help with Caregiving. I am self employed, but I have learned I am not Super Woman. I need help running the house and help with my business that will allow me the addtional time I need to take care of mom.
