Help Lena's Lungs ❤️

Myself, Cindy, got Lena from a friend at the beginning of the new year 2019. Having spent some time with Lena how could I not help the sweet girl live her retirement to it's fullest. Upon getting her into my home I noticed some funny breathing from Lena and my friend helped me get her into the vet to get vaccines, Heartworm test, complete bloodwork, etc. That vet visit didn't go as thoroughly as I would of liked and upon telling my friends I still had major concerns with her breathing and her stomach distending after meals my friend offered to have us visit the fine state of Minnesota and see her vet. Lena got to see Dr Dinsmore at KM Regional and got a full body x-rays and abdominal ultrasound. The X-rays show a large mass on her lower lobe of her right lung. From ultrasound images we do not believe it is attached to her heart but sitting tightly next to it. To surgically fix a mass of this size is a high $5K + with high risks I will not put Lena through. We've sent of a biopsy of the mass to determine if it's cancer or on the off chance it's a lobe infection that's gone too far. But reality is it's 95% cancer with a 5% chance it's not. We simply love Lena and keep her comfortable with medications.  ❤️At this time I'm asking for help. My friends has graciously made it possible to come and spend a week with her and Lena got the help and answers shes and I needed. But current costs are at $800. I live on vet limited funds. Once she's back in Kansas we'll need to monitor the mass with x-rays to make sure it's not growing and continue to offer Lena medications to aid in her pain relief.  Lena and myself send our highest thank yous to anyone who could spare a few dollars. The money will pay get vet bills and those invoices will be posted as updates.
