Since our debut album, King of Nothing (2016), much has changed and evolved with within Leisure Chief. Adding Jordan Garno on guitar, discovering new sounds, completing a few tours, playing many music festivals, and even having new family members our own - we have been BUSY and have grown tremendously as a result. Now the time has arrived to release new music and we need your help, friends!
This past month we ventured down to the City of Progress in Miami, and laid down the foundation down for our 2nd full-length album! We are working with some of the best in the business to give our fans our highest quality release to date. Andrew Yeomanson (DJ Le Spam/Spam All Stars) and Brian Robertson (Lemon City Trio) - amazing and accomplished musicians in their own right - have lended their tremendous engineering talents to us and the initial work is already sounding fantastic.
All in all, we have 11 new songs going on the album, along with a bonus release of two singles (to be released before the album... more info on that TBA) will be shared soon to give everyone a preview. In addition to the costs of recording, we plan on having an array of guest musicians including horn and string sections, plus other special appearances to bring out it’s full potential. Donations will also go toward the final mixing/mastering edits, full physical production, and the complete marketing and distribution of this album.
