Legion funding to WW1 plaques
Donation protected
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 15 Brampton Ontario wish the mark the 100th Anniversary of the end of WW1 in a meaningful and permanent way. We have a close relationship with The Regimental Association of The Lorne Scots (Peel, Dufferin and Halton Regiment). In WWI over 4000 soldiers walked into an armouries currently run by The Lorne Scots to enlist.
We wish to acknowledge those soldiers, many of whom made the ultimate sacrifice, by placing a memorial plaque just inside the doors to the armouries.
We need to raise $4000. Any amounts collected over $4000 will be added to our Poppy Fund, which is a fund to aid Veterans in this area . On November 11, 2018, at 1100 am we ask you to remember all the fallen soldiers of this country and to acknowledge 100 years since the end of WWI.
