Legacy Youth Center

St. Clair County, Michigan currently has around 12,402 students in 6th through 12th grades. Today’s students are struggling to find purpose in the midst of obstacles such as low self-esteem, bullying, fatherlessness, abandonment, apathy, suicide, addictions, broken homes, and much more. These struggles have never been more magnified and our culture has become more detached from reality and consumed by selfishness. This generation is in search of authentic, genuine relationships with people that will help them navigate through this time and believe in them. We have a vision of reaching as many of these students as possible and are committed to providing a safe and fun place for them. We focus on encouraging students to discover who they are and to live a life of integrity and leadership as they grow into young adults that give back to their community.

We are in the process of building a facility called “Legacy Youth Center”. This facility will help continue the success of the three camps we already hold annually as well as other events throughout the year. These events are available for all students grades 6-12 in our community and we have already seen great success in helping students overcome struggles such as suicide, depression, anger, and loneliness.

We have been blown away by the generosity of our community and have been able to raise about $60,000! We are excited to announce that we have officially finished phase 1 of our goal; building the structure. With the financial donations and the skilled volunteers that have donated countless hours of their time, we have been able to construct a building. A huge thank you to all those that have helped us reach this point; we couldn’t have done it without you!
We are so close to seeing Legacy Youth Center become a reality! We need the help and support of the community and generous donations from individuals and businesses that believe in the future of this generation. Phase 2 will cost about $50,000 additional to complete the building; cement, heating, insulation, electricity etc. We humbly ask that you would consider making a tax-deductible donation so this dream can be for fulfilled.
