Leash Of Hope Assistance Dogs

Donation protected
Leash of Hope Assistance Dogs (LOH) was created by Danielle Main and Tessa Nielssen to fill a gap in the service dog community. People with disabilities and dogs who would otherwise not be considered are able to find each other. All of our puppies are rescues. We proudly use local rescues and the community to provide amazing dogs with great purpose and forever homes.

Our program has been uniquely designed to be easily integrated  into our participants daily life while customizing their dogs skills to their needs. Though the process in total takes 2 years from start to finish it allows us to develop a lifelong bond and skill set.

Unfortunately with the changing Guide Dog and Service Dog laws in BC, as of January 18th, LOH will no longer be allowed public access. For us to continue we need to get accreditation from Assistance Dogs International (ADI). Along with a lot of paperwork there is a hefty accreditation fee.

We are a small organization and don't have the funds to pay out of pocket so we are turning to you, the public, for assistance! Every dollar helps and raising this money would mean we can continue to work with our teams that we love.
