Finding My Vision- Photo Workshop

Hi Family & Friends,
A few weeks ago, on a whim, I submitted my application to attend a workshop in Oaxaca, Mexico that is run by two world-renowned photographers, Alex & Rebecca Norris Webb. The workshop is only open to 18 photographers and having never been published or exhibited, I didn't think my chances were that high. Still, I thought it was too enticing of an opportunity to ignore. Within a few days of sending my portfolio to them, I received an invitation to the workshop.
I was stunned and not quite sure how to process such news. As many of you know, I have taken my interest in photography increasingly seriously over the past few years, but never knew where I wanted to go with it. My dreams were to be in a gallery or publish a book, but I never knew how to reach those goals given my lack of experience and confidence.
This appears to be the most obvious path forward to reach, or simply progress, to that end goal. So, I've decided to be excited about it to start reading up on the city, it's traditions, cultures, history, nuances, etc. However, I still have fears. Chief among them is the initial cost of the trip. The workshop costs $2200, $500 of which I will put down by the end of July to hold my limited spot. I have a little bit saved to cover that down payment but beyond that, I'm not sure if I will have enough to cover the total cost (including flights, lodging, and food.) I've worked out the costs of the flight, which should be about $400, and the hotel they want us to stay in has a few rooms that work out to be $60 per night (7 nights total).
In order to raise the funds for this opportunity, which I think is fundamental to my growth as an artist, I am selling some camera equipment, taking on extra hours at a part-time job, and saving everything I can, but I thought it might be a good idea to offer up some prints of a selection of my photographs, which can be found at this link: https://enialbm-otohp.tumblr.com/

16x20/16x24= $100
Donations of any amount are, of course, cherished so if you are in a position to donate more, I will forever be grateful and will send you a coffee table book of my work from Oaxaca.

Asking for help is rather difficult for me to do, so I hope this all comes across genuinely. I would not be asking were this opportunity not as important to me as it is. I thank you all for caring about me and anything you could contribute would mean the world.
