League City, Texas Hurricane Relief

For the past two years, League City, Texas has been home to the Major League Quidditch Championship at Hometown Heroes Park. Over this time, our event partner, City of League City, showed our players, staff, volunteers, and spectators tremendous hospitality and the amazing power of community.

This past weekend, Hurricane Harvey dumped nearly 30 inches of rain on this tight-knit community––cars have been submerged, buildings have been flooded, and some residents have been forced to evacuate from their homes. The storm is not officially over, but it's already clear that the damage done to this area may not be fully known for weeks to come.

We at MLQ want to do our part to help. We've set up this GoFundMe for our community members to help support a city that has shown us so much respect and kindness. All proceeds raised will go directly towards the League City Lions Club's hurricane relief. If you're unable to make a donation at this time, do not fret. You can also share this link to your social networks to spread the word. Any type of support goes a long way.
