Dear friends,

The path to recovery after the lung tranaplant hasn't been easy. More than ever my brother, Mavis, needs your support.
He keeps fighting, he is a warrior, a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a friend.
We need to cover medical expenses that are no longuer covered by his insurance, help us to give him a chance, join us to this final battle.
Every euro, dollar or peso counts! A lot! Thank you for your help, for being there!
Love you all!

Dear friends,

It has been 3 weeks since my brother Mauricio got a brand new pair of lungs. Recovery hasn't been easy, many issues have risen and new medical procedures were needed but he keeps fighting.
But good news! His body is slowly accepting this new organ and day by day he is making his way to a full recovery.
I was able to join my family for a couple of weeks, it was my joy to see him, to talk to him and share -for a short period- his fight.
The medical team is confident, my brother has an amazing spirit and keeps a bright mood even through darkest moments and hopeless hours.
As you know, we have now reached the full insurance cover limits, any financial help will be a major contribution to us.
So many people are supporting us, giving us hope and keeping us in their prayers, to you all thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Keep my brother in your prayers and share this "Gofundme" link as much as you can. Forever grateful, my heart goes to you all.

Love, Sylvia

Chers amis,

Sylvia

Dear friends,

It's been more than a week since my brother, Mavis, received a new pair of lungs. The path to recovery hasn't been easy.
Many difficulties have risen, his kidneys are struggling to filter his blood which demands a hard work to his "new lungs".
In order to help him out, he has been re-plugged again to the previous mechanical lung that assisted him before but also to a hemodyalisis machine to take off the workload put to his lungs.
It seems unclear to the medical team if his body is rejecting the transplanted organ, new analysis and studies are been made.
We have now reached medical insurance limits, any financial help will be a major contribution to us.
Keep my brother in your prayers and share this post as much as you can, forever grateful, my hearth to you all.

Love,
Sylvia
