Layla's Dream

$45,350 of $25,000 goal

Layla Angela Charette was granted her angel wings February 12, 2017 following a sudden illness.  She was only five years old, but left a lifetime of loving memories.  She was a dreamer with a gracious smile and eyes that could melt your heart.

Layla was a creative, kind, imaginative, and giving spirit who truly loved being with her family and friends.  She had a giving and nurturing way about her and we want to spread that love to others in need.  "Layla's Dream" was created as a way to honor her and all the things she loved.  Any money raised will go directly towards bringing joy and a little hope to those going through difficult times at Hasbro Children's Hospital.  As a family, we will shop for things like dolls, stuffed animals, books, playdough, etc. and donate our time to brighten the days  of those going through tough times like our sweet Layla did.  Thank you and God Bless.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude for your generous personal gift toward 'Layla's Dream'. Even though this has been a really difficult time for our family, our focus now is on honoring Layla's memory in the best way possible. We want to bring a little hope and happiness to the children at Hasbro Children's Hospital.
My name is Joe Kayata, Layla's uncle, and I along with Layla's parents (Alaina & BJ Charette) will be withdrawing the funds and putting them into Layla's Dream LLC. The money will go directly toward buying toys, dolls, books, games, etc. My family will then deliver them to the children at Hasbro Children's Hospital. We are working closely with Dr. Lee Polikoff and his staff at Hasbro to make sure we're meeting the needs of the families at the hospital.
Thank you again for your continued support,
Joe Kayata & Family
