Laying George Diamond to Rest

George Hayden Diamond was born on the 22nd of June 2000, the first of five little Diamonds which his parents, Vic and Shayla, were to welcome into their family.
George was always a wonderful friendly boy; cheeky, loving and kind. He was dedicated and caring, and very committed to his family and friends; a protective son and older brother as well as a mate. He was a great support to everyone, including his three brothers, Perry, Christian and Isaiah, and his sister, Eva. In recent years, he was particularly supportive and protective of his grandfather after his grandmother lost her battle with breast cancer in 2017. Georgie always put everyone else first. It was his greatest gift to the world - loving and supporting others.
Unfortunately, on Monday the 18th of February 2019, George suffered a brain haemorrhage, and despite the wonderful work of the ambulance officers and the staff at The Alfred Hospital, the damage was too severe, and the decision was made to turn off his life support, as our beautiful George was brain dead and would never come back to us. At 4:50pm on Thursday the 21st of February 2019, George passed away, surrounded by his family.
This Go Fund Me is dedicated to George, to help his family to pay for a funeral which should not be happening now. Nobody should ever have to bury their child, nor be restricted in how they celebrate his life, due to a lack of funds. George was such a great friend to us all, a person who gave us his love, comfort and support freely. Please donate anything that you can so his family can give George the send-off he deserves, and he can be laid to rest with his Grandmother Eva, Grandfather George, Grandmother Matina and Aunty Stella.
George, you will be forever missed, never forgotten.
