Lavin-Burgher family fundraiser

UPDATE 05/27:
We are saddened to share that Rebecca Ryan Lavin-Burgher passed away at 1:57 pm on her 22nd birthday, May 24th. We are humbled and appreciative of all of those who have reached out, who have donated, who have shared stories and memories of Ryan, and all the other ways in which you've shown support this past week.
Rebecca was an organ donor, and we are happy to share that she saved many lives, along with enhancing the lives of countless others: people can walk, breathe, see, and live another day because of her.
When we started this campaign, it was unclear exactly where the money was headed. We feel as though Rebecca's fund should be used for something more than just medical bills; it should stand for something and serve as a testament to the kind of person Rebecca was, and the kind of world she wanted to build.
We are still exploring options to make sure that we find the perfect outlet for these funds, but we want to continue raising money in honor and remembrance of RyRy. To that end, we are going to increase the initial goal, and invite all to continue to donate to the fund if able.
Thank you all for your support: the continual well-wishes and absolutely staggering shows of love from our family, friends, and communities has helped immensely.
Keep holding Ryan tight; she's sure as hell holding you.

On behalf of the Lavin-Burgher family, I want to thank each and every person who not only donated but called, texted, sent up a prayer, and held RyRy tight during this terrible time.
I am humbled that we have been able to reach our donation goal in less than a day. It speaks to Rebecca's infectious joy and the light she spread as she pranced through the world.
Please continue to donate as you are able, all proceeds will help our family immensely.

We are heartbroken to share the news that our beloved Rebecca RyRy Lavin-Burgher suffered a tragic accident on May 20th. The brightest sparkle, all those who met or knew of RyRy, knew what a profound impact she had on the world around her.
She lived for her people; her friends, her family, her community. Though these times are devastatingly difficult, Rebecca would want us to hold each other tight, and lift each other up while we grieve this unimaginable loss.
Her mothers and sister appreciate the humbling support they have received from all of the beautiful and powerful communities of which Rebecca was a part.
She will always be with us, everyday, for the rest of our lives.
Hold her always, she's holding you.
