Laurie / Robbie Vernon Medical Aid

Robbie was recently competing in an Iron Man competition. During the bicycle phase, Robbie was struck by a car. Robbies was airlifted to a local hospital suffering from broken bones and severe trauma. Laurie Lewallen, and Robbie Vernon are residents of Brooks Georgia located in south Fayette County. The upcoming months are going to be very hard financially as Robbie begins to heal. Robbie is self-employed in the construction business and is not going to be able to work to support his family and bear the burden of these additional medical expenses, co-pays, and deductibles. Robbie and Laurie would never ask anyone for help. Please come together with compassion, as this wonderful family is in legitimate need. Additional information: My name is Les Gillespie, and I pilot a Life Flight Medical Helicopter in the Atlanta, Ga area. I have known Laurie and Robbie Vernon for 15 years, and am a friend of the family. The funds will be used to pay medical bills and bridge the financial gap until Robbie is well enough to go back to work.
