Fix Lauren's Wonky Pelvis

Lauren is a mom, small business owner, hairstylist, friend, fitness enthusiast, daughter, sister, aunt, my wife and best friend. She has also be fighting chronic pain caused by  Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction ‌ for over a year. This dysfunction causes her pelvic instability and pain, lumbar pain, hip/groin pain, tailbone pain, trouble sitting or standing for long periods, sciatica, and so much more. She has gone from a healthy, active marathoner to walking with a cane and needing an electric cart to shop . She has tried all of the recommended conventional treatments and nothing has provided long last relief. After being told that there was nothing more to be done than injections and pain pills, Lauren began to research. She found a doctor in Montana who was helping people get their lives back with a minimally invasive surgery he pioneered called,  Rialto Fusion ‌. She flew to see him and was happy to hear that she was an excellent candidate for this surgery. The bad news is our insurance doesn't want to cover it because it's deemed, "experimental." We have the right to appeal their decision but this can take months and we feel that it just simply isn't fair for Lauren to have to wait any longer. Lauren will be out of work for 4-8 weeks. Without her beautiful balayages and creative cuts, our household income will take a big hit. On top of it we are also being put in the position to committing to a new bill, a monthly payment for this necessary surgery. We truly believe that everything will work itself out and we have that faith because we have some truly amazing people in our lives.
