Laura’s New Van for 40th Birthday

Laura turns 40 on September 29 and she is the delight of all around her — especially her fun-loving, and still energetic mother, Maureen. However, the van they use to get to the many events and activities that add to the quality of their lives (horse riding is a Laura favorite, as well as all stage shows at Sebastiani Theater) is aging faster than Laura! They need a new or refurbished one and they are expensive! North Bay Regional will give them some money toward a purchase, but the rest is up to Maureen and Laura. 
New vans are about $80,000, but they will look for a used van or refurbished or one recently rehabbed.
Some of her friends thought we’d like to help toward the van and wanted to tell anyone else who might like to donate that it would be a wonderful birthday present for Laura!
(Maureen and Laura wouldn’t ask directly so we thought we would.)
It’s a big number to raise and we might not make it, but anything toward it would make less for Laura and Maureen to owe.
