It all started when I thought that I was just stressed out at my full time job (started to not feel well). I left my job and got a part time job. Leaving my job meant lossing health insurance for a month. Within the next few weeks after lossing insurance and having to wait for the new insurance to kick in. My abdomin started to swell to an incredible size. I started to feel very winded and tired. I couldn't go to the doctors yet due to insurance. Then I couldn't take it anymore my husband brought me to the emergency room to get checked out. The doctors did a ct scan and they found a very large tumor covering my whole left ovary (tumor is 17cm x 20cm). They found a lot of fluid in my abdomin as well. They had to drain the fluid to test it...they found out that the tumor was cancerous and needed to be treated right away.
The recommened treatment to be able to cure my ovarian cancer is to go under chemo treatment for 9 to 12 weeks and then under go a hysterectomy and then another 9 to 12 weeks of chemo.
During the surgery to place my port to get ready for the chemo treatments I had a complication during the surgery that placed me in the ICU for 4 days with a breathing tube. The situation made my lungs very weak and we had to put off treatment for two weeks until I was strong enough to recieve treatment.
Undergoing these treatments weekly has made it that I am unable to work so it is putting a financial burden on my family. Please if you can help us in anyway that would be a big blessing and be greatly appreciated. The cost between the doctor's visits, treatment and all the other expenses is making it difficult to pay our other financial responsibilities. The donations will help us be able to pay the doctor bills and any other of our personal finacial expenses, it will lessen the burden on my husband who is the onyone able to work at this time.
Our family would love to be able to use the funds by the end of January 2017, that is when the medical bills will be flooding in to be paid.
