She has the Cancer

My friend, Laura Dubaz Murphy, has triple negative breast cancer.  She has maintained her dignity through a double masectmony in July, 2016; chemotherapy from September, 2016 until January, 2017. She begins 34 treatments of radiation, five days a week for approximately 7 weeks.

Laura hasn't been able to work since August, 2016. She is a paralegal at a law firm in Pascagoula, Mississippi. She is married to Greg Murphy who has taken on the role of sole provider.  Laura does have health insurance through Greg's employer; however, the co-pays and remaining balances of her medical bills are considerable. The bills will keep coming as she anticipates radiation, two more surgeries and the many office visits she faces in the future. 

To support her, I have started this page so we can all help the Murphy family in our own way.
