My dear friend, Laura DiMinno, has spent countless years helping others as a humanitarian and wisdom coach. She has now been diagnosed with 2 different types of cancer within less than two weeks, and is hospitalized. She would never ask for help, so I will do it: Please help Laura and her beautiful family during these hard times. Today, tomorrow, and the next day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Update on March 8, 2019: Laura is still undergoing chemotherapy. The results from her PET scan shows that her body seems to be responding in a positive way to the therapy; the tumors in her liver and abdomen are shrinking (which is necessary for the surgical removal of them), and her vitals are strong. We are all so happy for this progress, but I need to stress that it is taking a toll on Laura and her family, both emotionally and financially. The insurance company is covering only parts of the mounting costs. I therefor kindly ask you once again to help out with whatever amount you can to "Laura's Spirit". I also learned from GoFundMe, that sharing on Facebook is a good way to spread the word. So please: give and share! Love from Pia

Who you are - I am Pia Jablonski.
Where you're from - I was born in Sweden, moved to the US in 1985, and have been living in Colorado for the last 31 years.
Your relationship to Laura - She is a very dear friend of mine. Many years ago, she was employed as Secretary in our company, System Six. I have followed this beautiful soul since 1992 (?) through her marriage to Matt DiMinno, and the birth of their amazing daughters, Melanie and Suzie.
How the funds will be used (be specific as possible) - As I have mentioned here twice before, the funds are urgently needed to pay for medical bills that Laura's and Matt's insurance company does not cover.
Since you are withdrawing the money, how you plan to send the funds to the parties you're raising money for or use the money on their behalf - I am planning to continue sending the funds through the means of a personal check via USPS, as soon as I have received the funds from GoFundMe.
For all friends of Laura: positive thoughts, prayers, sharing on Facebook and other social media, together with giving here on GoFundMe is all very much appreciated. Thank you all!
