--------------------------------------------------------

In September/October 2018 Laura Marshall will attempt to become the FIRST solo Australian woman to complete one of the  world's toughest triathlon - the Enduroman Arch to Arc!

The Enduroman Arch to Arc is widely touted as one of the world's toughest continuous ultra endurance triathlon. To date there have been only 27 people who have completed the event, 6 of which have been women. The event begins at the Marble Arch in London and concludes at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris taking in the 3 following legs:

Leg 1 - The Run: Marble Arch, London to the coast of Dover (87 miles / 140 kms)
Leg 2 - The Swim: Swim the English Channel (21 miles / 33 kms)
Leg 3 - The Cycle: Calais, France to Arc de Triomphe in Paris (181 miles / 292 kms)
TOTAL DISTANCE: 289 miles / 465 kms

Laura has dreamed of completing this incredible challenge since she read about it in a book that she was given as a gift, “The Worlds Toughest Endurance Challenges” by Richard Hoad and Paul Moore. Reading this reignited the passion to swim the English Channel which Laura has had since a small child, but with this unique event she gets to tack on a run and a cycle! What better way to push yourself and really test your limits!

Through completing this amazing event Laura hopes to inspire others and to show people that the only limits we have are the ones that we set ourselves. She also hopes to raise awareness and funds for beyondblue , a fantastic Australian organisation that helps make a difference in lives of people in Australia who are affected by anxiety, depression and suicide.

Donations to helping Laura Marshall become the FIRST ever solo Australian woman to complete the Enduroman Arch to Arc will be used to fund the event (official entrance fees, support boat hire, safety equipment, travel to the UK from Australia, technical equipment, insurance).

50% of all donations will also be going towards beyondblue , in an effort to help make a difference to Australians  who are affected by anxiety, depression and suicide.

Any contribution, small or large, will be extremely appreciated as this has been something Laura has dreamed of doing for many, many years and it is not something she can acheive on her own. She hopes that by being an ordinary person who is taking on an extraordinary task she will be able to show others that anything is possible.
