Laura Eiman is on a mission

Laura Eiman is on a mission to inspire 73 million baby boomers to become healthy and happy.

At 63 years old, this entrepreneur, mother and champion athlete still has plenty of gas left in the tank.

Three years ago, Laura started CrossFit to jumpstart a comprehensive state of wellness, because, in her words - "my life was in the gutter mentally, spiritually, physically, and fiscally". In July of 2016, she took her first olympic weightlifting class, and the rest, as they say, is history. A love affair began with her commitment to become stronger in all areas of her life and as a weightlifter. "If you want to get stronger in life, you have to pick up that heavier weight"  is Laura's mantra, a reflection of her own journey from"the gutter to grateful to great."   Today as the 2016 Florida state champion and 4th nationwide, in olympic weightlifting in her Master's division, Laura is inspiring others to become the very best version of themselves by practicing safe functional fitness programs, proper nutrition and meditation.

To know her is to be inspired by her mindset of unlimited possibility. She is truly radiant with joy, shining light on everyone she meets as she gives the gift of listening intently to their passions and generating connection wherever she goes. She repeatedly hears millennials exclaim  "I want to be like you when I grow up."  Laura has personally set out to become "The Face of Baby Boomer Fitness" inspiring her generation to get up and get moving, and to explore all that they are truly capable of. "We did Woodstock and Watergate together. Let's not do wheelchairs together!" she proclaims with sincerity and passion.

On February 29th at a weightlifting meet full of athletes half her age, this incredible lady qualified for the 2017 Masters Pan Am Games in the Dominican Republic and the Worlds Masters Games in Auckland, New Zealand.  With the love and support from her family, friends, and community at CrossFit 1401 in West Palm Beach, Florida, our goal is to raise $7,000 to cover  training, competition and travel costs for Laura and her coach Nadia Frye, as she sets out to crush yet another goal as the voice of Baby Boomer Fitness.

Laura teaches us to dream bigger, reach farther, and make progress instead of excuses. Any donations in support of the effort to send Laura and coach Frye to The Pan Am Games on June 9th  are received in gratitude.

Thank you from her friends and the owners at CrossFit 1401 and West Palm Beach Barbell Club!
