Latitude 26 Resorts Hurricane Ian Recovery

Dear friends of Latitude 26 Resorts,

As you know, Fort Myers Beach was devastated by Hurricane Ian last week. Our staff are okay, but shaken up, as many have lost their cars and homes. All three of our Latitude 26 resorts and marinas were hit hard, but our team is determined to stick together and rebuild our little slice of paradise to continue serving those who matter most to us, our guests.

Because of the massive storm surge, many large boats were lifted over the seawall and launched into our resort properties, destroying everything in their way. All of our lower level rooms were completely flooded and need to be rebuilt from bare bones. Our team has been working extremely hard this week on cleaning up the mess and beginning the restoration process to start fresh. We are so proud of our team...this one truly hits close to home for many of us.

Years of patrons, friends, and past guests have reached out to us, looking for a way to help where they can after such a disaster. This GoFundMe page is to aid in raising money for the rebuilding process of our beautiful and unique Latitude 26 Resorts. Our goal is to reopen in stages during the coming weeks and months, first to house emergency responders that are serving Southwest Florida in such a critical way.

Funds will assist with the clean-up of debris and the restoration of our properties, boats, docks, and guest amenities. We are currently still without vital utilities such as power and water, so any contribution goes a long way. Owners Paul and Joan are charging forward with the task at hand, even though their hearts are broken over this loss. We sincerely appreciate your support and words of encouragement during this time. Our staff are ready to rebuild our properties and our community, and we look forward to serving our guests from all over the world once we are able to reopen.
