Toys for the less fortunate

Every child deserve to feel joy during the holidays. Every child needs to know that someone cares. Last year you all help me surpass my goals. I'm trying to do it again. This year we are collecting for a Domest Violence Shelter. As most of you know this is a senstive subject for me and being a survior. These mothers need our help to put a smile on their children's faces. Any amount would help.

LatinosNYC is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to enriching lives by providing food, clothing, books and more. Rooted in the multitude of identities that make up the Latino culture of New York City, we utilize art, live performances and community events to bring about awareness, raise funds for our charity services and collection of goods/donations (school supplies, winter wear, canned food, etc.)

For most children, the holidays are filled with celebrations, parties, family gatherings, exchanging gifts and hope for a joyous new year. This is not the case for many children in "the system" who have been removed from their parents or who may be part of the "less fortunate".

Every year LationsNYC "adopts" approximately 250 children who are in the ACS system in NYC who would without our support not have the experience of the joy that so many other children experience on Three Kings Day.

We ask for your support in helping us give hope to these amazing, beautiful young souls who are our future. Help us in letting them know that they are not forgotten and that there are good people who truly care.
