Laser Dog Games (@roballison + @si_renshaw ) are taking part in the Banger Rally Challenge 2018 (30th Sep to 5th Oct) to raise money for Chernobyl Aid UK.
What's a banger rally?
We drive a car that's valued at ~ £500 for a very long distance, going through UK, France and Spain.

Why are you doing this?
We've been wanting to do some sort of sponsored fund raiser for this particular charity for some time now. With neither of us knowing how cars work (magic?) and our combined dislike of driving long distances, we thought the Banger Rally would be perfect!
Why Chernobyl Aid UK?
The charity delivers much needed aid to the people still affected by the Chernobyl disaster of 1986. Aid is any item that will help needy families, schools and institutes to improve the lives of adults, children and families in Belarus, particularly those who are disabled.
Aid is delivered in large vehicles in convoy from the UK to Belarus. The team is compromised of volunteers that collect aid and load vehicles all year round, completing convoys up to four times a year.
The team has delivered over 1,500 tonnes of essential aid to Belarus over the years.
The charity have no paid staff either in the UK or in Belarus. The convoy teams pay their own expenses for food and accommodation.

What are we asking for?
Money! We thought that was clear!
Sending a convoy of vehicles across Europe isn't cheap and we're hoping that our fundraiser could really help the next trip out there.
What do you get for your contribution?
That's a good question. Firstly, you'll get our thanks, and the thanks of the CAUK team. Secondly, you'll have the knowledge that you've helped bring essential aid to people who are in need of it.
What? That's not enough?
For each sponsor, we're going to print off a sticker of your choice (could be a company logo, your name, a favourite image) and place it on the back window of our "banger". The bigger the donation, the bigger the sticker.
